Barnardo’s occupies Aintree shop

Children's charity Barnardo's has taken a 1,197 sq ft retail unit located at 3-5 Altway in Aintree, Liverpool.

Barnardo's has agreed on a ten year lease at £20,000 a year with Fenwick Street Investment.

Thomas Barnardo founded the charity in the late 1800s when he helped abused, vulnerable, forgotten and neglected children living in east London.

The charity now helps around 100,000 families in the UK every year. Barnardo's has also established a network of shops in the country which sell items such as clothing, books, shoes and furniture.

Legat Owen acted on behalf of Barnardo's and Mason Owen represented the landlord in the deal.
