Andrew McGuiness has joined Barker Proudlove's Manchester office as director to expand its retail and leisure agency offering.
McGuiness joined the company from Tushingham Moore where he spent 10 years. He will continue to act on behalf of national retail and leisure operators such as Betfred, Gondola Group and Poundland, all of whom have an aggressive acquisition programme in the North of England. He will also act as leasing agent on a number of shopping centre and high street properties in the North of England.
Richard Barker, director of Barker Proudlove, said: "Since we formed in 2010, the business has grown rapidly during an incredibly tough property market. The acquisition of Andrew is fantastic news for both the wider business and especially the Manchester office, which will shortly celebrate its first year anniversary following Gary Crompton's arrival from Reid Rose Gregory in October."
Barker Proudlove operates from Leeds and Manchester offices dealing with in-town high street and shopping centre leasing, and leisure and retail acquisitions for a wide spectrum of retained clients.
