Barclays recruits property director
Barclays Business in the North West has appointed Steve Grant as its new property relationship director based in Manchester.
Barclays Business is the business banking arm of Barclays and has over 700,000 customers that are a mixture of start ups, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Grant will be responsible for developing the Barclays Business property proposition across the North West and focus on property deals looking to borrow between £500,000 and £3m.
He brings with him 30 years of experience working at HSBC and in the last three years he worked with Barclays Corporate real estate in Manchester.
Grant said: "Barclays Business will continue to support and lend to viable businesses during these challenging and unprecedented economic conditions. We are very much open for business and I look forward to talking to local businesses and helping them achieve their business goals and aspirations in 2011 and beyond."
