Langdale Owners has completed the third and final phase of bedroom refurbishments at the Langdale Hotel & Spa in the Lake District.

Refurbished bedroom at Langdale hotelFinancial backing from Barclays Corporate, worth £800,000 of investment, has enabled all 56 bedrooms at the hotel to be refurbished over the winter.

The hotel is situated within the 35-acre Langdale Estate, which began life as a small woollen mill in the 17th century.

Steve Bentley, from Barclays Corporate in Manchester, said: "Barclays Corporate have been very impressed with Langdale and its management team and the refurbished rooms really need to be seen to be believed. Reaching this milestone is a testament to them and their strategy particularly during such a difficult economic period. However, with many holidaymakers still choosing to stay in the UK, we hope the Langdale Hotel has a record year and continues the success they have seen in recent years."
