Barclays appoints new corporate head for Merseyside
Barclays has appointed John Pitchford as its new head of corporate banking in Liverpool, having moved from the bank's Colwyn Bay office.
He will manage a team of ten relationship directors at 20 Chapel Street plus a team of locally based support staff. The team works with businesses with a turnover of £5m or over and above.
Pitchford's successor for Barclays in North Wales and Chester will be announced soon.
He said: "From my previous experience I understand that corporate customers need access to a whole range of products and services, with tailored solutions according to their business needs. Meeting with clients to discuss their strategy and gain an understanding of their individual requirements is my real passion and will ensure that we can provide customers with innovative and bespoke financial services which make a real difference to their business."
Pitchford replaced Rikki Griffiths who has gone to HSBC.
