Balmain takes Knowsley space

Agent Mason Owen has let a 41,000 sq ft unit at the Charleywood Estate to logistics provider Balmain.

Mark Coulthurst, partner at the Liverpool-based broker, said: “This is a basic, no-frills warehouse unit providing completely clear span storage space and an eaves height of 7.5 metres.

“It provides very useful space at an attractive rent within a very accessible location – making it the ideal base for a logistics operator.”

The building is located at the junction of Lees Road and Charleywood Road, close to the entrance of Knowsley Industrial Park – the A580 East Lancs Road forms the southern boundary of the park, connecting it to the M57 and Liverpool city centre.

Quoting rents on Charleywood’s online brochure are £2.50 per sq ft, which Place understands was achieved. The building has a rateable value of £66,000.
