Balluff office sale completes Oakfield move

Sensor manufacturer Balluff has sold its office in Cheadle, South Manchester to Bluetree Estates as it relocates to new premises in Cheadle Royal.

The sale of the 12,000 sq ft building at 2 Finney Lane was completed for an undisclosed sum, although the quoting price was £1.75m.

Balluff, which specialises in industrial sensors and radio frequency identification, has relocated to its new purpose-built office accommodation at Muse's Oakfield in Cheadle Royal.

David Thwaites, associate director at Lamber Smith Hampton, advising Balluff, commented: "This was a rare opportunity to acquire a freehold property in such a sought-after location and demonstrates the continued strength of the South Manchester freehold market."

Canning O'Neill acted for the purchaser.
