B8 recruits Johnson from JLL

Industrial director Steve Johnson has resigned from Jones Lang LaSalle to join start-up niche agency B8 Real Estate.

B8 was launched a year ago by industrial specialists Howard George, Tom Davis and Simon Wood. The three had sold their DGi Davis George practice to CBRE in 2007 and stayed there for three-years while they were tied in under the terms of the deal. Jonathan Thorne, formerly director of CBRE Liverpool and a colleague at DGi, has also since joined B8.

Johnson, previously with King Sturge before its acquisition by JLL, is still working his notice and is expected to join B8 in the next couple of months.

B8 is based in Daresbury.
