Aztec hands over Centric House

Aztec has completed the fit out of the five-storey former Barclays House, renamed Centric House, in Liverpool's Moorfields district.

The £700,000 development at the 33,000 sq ft building included full strip-out and installing a new office finish, bulkhead ceilings, suspended ceilings and a contemporary reception area.

Aztec also managed sourcing and installing all aspects of the art and creative work.

The building is owned by Barclays and was vacated when the bank moved to Rumford's 20 Chapel Street and Lord Street on the edge of Liverpool One.

Centric HouseRob Maxwell, managing director at Aztec, said: "This was a fantastic project for Aztec, it was a tight deadline and we really proved exactly what we can do. Our experience and craftsmanship speaks for itself on this project. We will continue to strive and deliver jobs of this calibre."

Hitchcock Wright & Partners and BNP Paribas are the retained letting agents on the building.
