AXA signs two in Salford
AXA Real Estate Investment Managers UK, acting on behalf of CIS, has reported two lettings at Metroplex Business Park opposite Media City UK in Salford Quays.
Both units are 9,054 sq ft each and comprise a 50:50 split of industrial and office accommodation over two storeys.
Aston & Fincher has signed a 10-year lease at a rental of £6.00/sq ft on Unit 126 and Cameron Industrial Services has signed an eight-year lease with a four-year break option at a rental of £6.50/sq ft on Unit 128.
WHR Property Consultants are joint agents with King Sturge. Richard Johnson, senior surveyor at King Sturge, said: "The hybrid units allow occupiers to save on occupational costs by combining both their industrial/warehouse and office requirements under one roof. We are delighted to have disposed of both units on good terms in a slow market, especially when their bespoke configuration makes them suitable only for a limited number of occupiers."
