Avjon splashes £6.3m in Knutsford

The investor has acquired five units totalling 114,000 sq ft at Parkgate Industrial Estate from plastics distributor Albis.

Agency Williams Sillitoe advised the vendor on the £6.3m sale to Avjon 3, whose directors are listed on Companies House as Jonathan Manson and Matthew Mcconville.

The five-acre Parkgate complex comprises 95,500 sq ft of warehouses and workshops, and 18,000 sq ft of offices.

Previously used exclusively by Albis, Avjon intends to break up and refurbish some of the units and is in talks with potential occupiers.

Albis is relocating from Parkgate to a new site at Booth Park in Knutsford.

Mark Sillitoe, director of Williams Sillitoe, said: “This is a significant disposal for the industrial sector, which continues to benefit from a surge in interest and investment across the country.

“We had a great deal of interest from a number of parties – both occupiers and investors – culminating in a best bids process.”

Avjon was unrepresented in the deal.
