Auction House announces April sale

Auction House's latest auction, comprising 22 lots primarily located in Cheshire and North Wales, will take place on 18 April at the Chester Racecourse.

The auction catalogue includes a number of properties in need of modernisation and investments offered on behalf of local councils, mortgagees in possession, receivers, executors, property companies and private individuals.

Notable lots include a former Station master's home at a working North Wales railway station, a detached bungalow having suffered flood damage and a development site with outline planning permission for 12 houses, which Auction House is inviting offers on an informal tender basis.

Station House at Penmaenmawr, which was withdrawn from the previous auction, will be sold on 18 April.

The auctioneer's February sale included a two-bedroom cottage in North Wales, which sold for a 67% above reserve, and the bungalow in Chester which achieved £45,000 in excess of its starting guide price.

Open house viewing dates are now underway.
