Atmore appoints new property director

Property group Atmore Developments has appointed Charles Shepherd to take the position of property director, following the retirement of managing director Alan Snowball.

Shepherd was previously property director at investor-developer Barlows in Chester, prior to which he spent four years at Mason Owen in the mid-1990s. He said: "I am delighted to be joining Atmore following 17 happy years at Barlows with the opportunity to work on both asset management and development projects across the wide portfolio."

Atmore's assets include the 54,000 sq ft Deiniol shopping centre in Bangor and 106,000 sq ft Spinning Gate shopping centres in Leigh.

Michael Grodner, chairman of Atmore Group, based in Liverpool, said: "We are very excited to be able to bring someone of Charles' calibre and first- rate experience to Atmore, and look forward to sharing a future managing, strengthening and building the portfolio."
