Astley joins Vistry Partnerships

The regeneration specialist has named Nathan Astley as its new commercial director for the region.

Astley, a 35-year industry veteran, joins from Create Construction, where he worked as pre-construction director. He previously spent close to a decade with Styles & Wood, first as head of commercial services, then as commercial executive.

He said: “Although I have joined the company at a very unusual time, I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead.

“Vistry Partnerships has continuously led the way in delivering new homes and bespoke communities, but our work is far from complete. We are on a journey to secure profitable growth and, in order to achieve this, I’m looking to strengthen the commercial team.”

Projects Warrington-bvased Vistry is involved in within the North West include an 850-home masterplan in partnership with Bloor Homes in Crewe, and a £75m residential scheme in Runcorn.

The company’s divisional managing director for Central and North, James Warrington, said: “Despite the economic challenges facing the UK, we are standing on the brink of a huge opportunity for housing and development.

“Vistry Partnerships is perfectly placed to develop the partnerships, joint ventures, and deliver the schemes that will turn this into a reality for people in the North West.”
