Assura director raises £300,000 from share sell-off

Andrew Darke, property managing director, has more than halved his stake in the Warrington-based GP landlord, selling 600,000 shares at 54.75p.
Following the £328,500 transaction announced on Tuesday, Assura said Darke still held 378,739 ordinary shares representing 0.02% of the company’s share capital.
Earlier this month, Assura was promoted to the FTSE 250 index for mid-sized companies on the London Stock Exchange.
Darke has been at Assura since before it joined the stockmarket in 2003.
Shares in Assura closed at 55p on Tuesday.
