Aspect on site at two science parks

Aspect Construction has been named preferred contractor for two science park projects totalling £700,000.

The Frodsham builder will work on the £500,000 Liverpool Science Park Innovation Centre 2 development, pictured, and the £200,000 SuperSTEM facility at Daresbury Science Park, near Warrington.

The SuperSTEM building work will consist of a new build extension to the existing SuperSTEM facility.

It will also encompass a deep pad microscope base ground slab, pad foundations and a steel frame structure.

The IC2 building at the Liverpool Science Park will consist of extensive refurbishment to three floors spanning more than 40,000 sq ft.

Both projects started this month with the Daresbury SuperSTEM project due for completion in August.

The Liverpool Science Park project is due for completion in June.

Aspect Construction director Wesley Allmark said: "These projects are a great opportunity for Aspect Construction to showcase our varied skills in delivering intricate projects such as the SuperSTEM and IC2 buildings."
