Ashurst signed to The Hive

Argent has appointed Ashurst Communications to assist with the marketing and communications for its 80,000 sq ft building on Lever Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

The Manchester-based public relations and communications firm was set up by Lisa Ashurst in 2009, who previously worked as head of communications for developer Urban Splash.

Angela Fielding, property marketing manager at Argent, said: "We are looking forward to working with Ashurst Communications to help us attract new tenants to the Hive."

Developed in partnership between Argent and Manchester City Council, The Hive won a British Council for Offices best commercial workplace award for the northern region on Tuesday.

Launched in October last year, current tenants include event specialist The Studio and the Arts Council England.

Argent is keen to attract tenants from the professional services sector to take the remaining 45,000 sq ft of available space.
