Specialist agency LM6 has let a 24,000 sq ft unit at Nexus Industrial Estate in Knowsley on behalf of Tilstone Industrial.
The 24,288 sq ft Unit 1 has been let to newly formed distribution company Ascent Transport on a five-year lease at a headline rental of £4 per sq ft, as Tilstone made public its desire to expand the park’s lettable space by a further 35,000 sq ft
Up to 20 staff will be based at the site, which will function as a distribution centre for a range of products including computer accessories, pet care products and IT equipment nationally.
Anthony O’Keefe, director of industrial agency at LM6, said: “Following the recent acquisition of the 185,000 sq ft Nexus Industrial Estate, Tilstone has undertaken lease re-gears with key occupiers and invested in a number of building improvements.
“The interest shown in the site and in this letting is further evidence of the continued demand for quality space around the North West’s prime motorway locations.”
Michael Jones of Tilstone Industrial added: “We are delighted to have let this unit to Ascent and are currently working with a number of other key tenants to upgrade their space.
“We are also discussing with Knowsley Council a further 35,000 sq ft of new build warehouse and industrial space which will be available to buy or let.”
