Asbestos surveys required on Bolton properties

Bolton Council is offering a two-year contract to any company that can provide asbestos surveys on some of the properties it owns.

There are 18,000 properties within the council's stock of which a proportion will require asbestos related surveying services to be undertaken. The annual expenditure will be within the region of £350,000.

The successful tender will also need to provide electronic data to be supplied in line with the current requirements and software database employed by the authority.

The contract has an option to be extended for a further two years. Deadline for submitting tenders is next Friday (19 February) at 12pm.
