Ardmac appoints new business director

Fit-out contractor Ardmac Group has recruited Linsay Drinkwater as business development director, based in Manchester and London.

Drinkwater joined from John Sisk & Son and previously worked at Halcrow Group. She will help develop Ardmac's business strategy and identify new opportunities for the company. Ardmac employs 60 people in the UK and a further 200 internationally.

Roy Millar, group business director, said: "Linsay's in-depth knowledge of the UK construction and property industries makes her the ideal candidate to further develop our profile in our target markets."

Ardmac is currently working on office fit-out contracts at Churchgate and Lee House and Acresfield, both in Manchester city centre. Savills is the project manager and client representative on both jobs.

An international company specialising in the construction of interior spaces for global brands, Ardmac has offices in the UK, Ireland and the Benelux region. The firm's portfolio of clients includes organisations such as Vodafone, University of Manchester, Next, Microsoft, Intel and GSK.
