Aprirose picks up Haydock shed
The investor has agreed to forward-purchase a 127,000 sq ft warehouse currently under construction at Haydock Cross, St Helens.
The site is accessed from the A580 East Lancs Road, a mile from junction 23 of the M6, and is in the midst of the Haydock industrial area.
Terms of the deal are undisclosed. Aprirose was approached for comment.
Logistics operator Law Distribution signed a 15-year lease for the design and build opportunity with then-owner. developer William Fishwick this January, expanding its operations in the area beyond its existing headquarters on a neighbouring site, also on Kilbuck Lane.
In February, Law Distribution annonuved a five-year deal to run the northern hub of the Palletlines network. Family-owned Law was founded more than 25 years ago and now employs 150-plus people, storing bonded and non-bnoded goods in warehousing running to 400,000 sq ft.
The new Law facility is now under construction, with an update posted to Law’s website in February stating that it expects to be completed this August.
Managing director David Law said at that point: “ARC 130 demonstrates a commitment to building our business in the Haydock area which provides an excellent location for our national transport operation.”
