Plans to convert disused offices into 14 apartments in Liverpool city centre have been approved by the council.
The plans, submitted by architect Wroot Design on behalf of the applicant, an individual named Tony Chris, are for seven one-bedroom and seven two-bedroom short-stay apartments, and the addition of a small roof extension.
The four-storey building is occupied on the ground floor by Wok to Walk, a takeaway noodle restaurant, and fashion chain Moss Bros. The apartments will be situated on the upper three floors.
The apartments, which include kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms, will be accessed from Wood Street which runs parallel to Bold Street at the rear of the property.
A similar project that launched last year, the Urbanista Hotel delivered by Liverpool-based Evolve Property Group, saw the refurbishment of the upper floors of 110-112 Bold Street to create a 19-bedroom boutique hotel
