APAM appoints new financial director

Alliance Property Asset Management has hired John Slater to its Manchester office in the newly-created role.

APAM, a property investment asset management firm, focuses on enhancing value in commercial property and has offices in London and Manchester.

Slater has over 35 years' experience as an accountant, working for a number of property firms including Dunlop Heywood, Hercules Property Services and most recently, Woodhouse Plumbing Heating & Electrical.

Simon Cooke, director at APAM, said: "Our presence and reputation is continuing to grow across the UK and John's appointment marks an important transition for the company as we continue to grow the team.

"We are confident that John's extensive experience and industry knowledge will complement and further enhance APAM's senior management team."

Chris Williams has also joined APAM and will work from the London office as investment asset manager.
