The appliances supplier has taken a 113,000 sq ft warehouse in Crewe from Quorum and Cabot Properties.
Ao.com signed a five-year lease at Q110, a new-build distribution facility on Weston Road, near to Junction 16 and 17 of the M6.
The warehouse was completed by Caddick in 2018 and designed by AEW Architects.
Q110 includes 20 HGV spaces, 126 parking spaces and 8,000 sq ft of office accommodation along with a 105,000 sq ft warehouse.
The quoted rent for the building is £6.25/sq ft
Legat Owen, Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank acted on behalf Quorum and Cabot.
Matt Pochin, director at Legat Owen, said: “This is very positive news for the market. The decision to speculatively build this facility was originally made as there was already a latent demand for logistics space in Crewe. Current market conditions have meant this demand has only intensified and we were pleased to provide AO with the additional space it required to further expand its business and serve its customer base.”
