Andrews lets two in Ellesmere Port
Developer Andrews Property Holdings has announced the letting of a pair of speculatively built manufacturing and distribution units in Cloister Way, Ellesmere Port.
A 22,000 sq ft unit has been let to eCorrugated, which specialises in the manufacture of high volume corrugated packaging. The company already has a facility in Ellesmere Port and has taken the Cloister Way space to accommodate its continued growth.
In a second deal, Helukabel UK, part of a German maker and distributor of electrical cabling wires and accessories, will relocate from Bromborough to take 20,400 sq ft. Both tenants have signed up to 10-year leases.
The site sits within the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone. The zone’s growth director John Adlen said: “This is another great success story for the Cheshire Science Corridor and comes off the back of an excellent first year’s performance.
“We have seen strong growth across the whole length of the Corridor from Alderley Park in the east right through to Ellesmere Port in the west.”
Legat Owen advised Andrews Property Holdings. Director Stephen Wade said: “The letting of both units shortly after practical completion confirms what we always knew – the fundamentals in the Ellesmere Port industrial market are right for business.
“Andrews Property Holdings have already completed several other schemes in Ellesmere Port and once again they have been rewarded for their commitment to spec build with early lettings.”
Athena Law acted for eCorrugated. Helukabel UK was unrepresented.
