Amerdale signs nursery group in Tameside

Acting on behalf of Amerdale, Cushman & Wakefield has let a 6,000 sq ft building in Denton to Just Childcare having agreed a 10-year lease from a quoting rent of £14.50/sq ft.

Ridgway House, on Ridgway Office Park, will be the new regional headquarters and will be used for administrative purposes only. The company was previously based in Worsley. Just Childcare operates six day nurseries.

Amerdale recently finished a refurbishment of the self-contained three-storey building earlier this year, project managed by Cushman & Wakefield.

Jonathan Baucher, associate at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "We are experiencing a very strong volume of enquires due largely to the improving economy and the distinct shortage of high quality office accommodation in the eastern conurbation of the city. We are about to embark on a large refurbishment programme in the neighbouring Millenium House and already attracting strong interest"
