‘Alpine’ wine bar opens in Hale village

The former book shop at 193 Ashley Road, Hale village has been let to The Little Deli Company for its second food and drink venture.

Little Deli Company took the 1,124 sq ft retail unit on a 10-year lease at an initial rental of £22,000 a year. The company already runs a popular local and specialist food outlet at 42 Stamford Park Road, also in Hale.

Chris Cunliffe, co-owner of the Little Deli Company said: "The deli has proved to be very successful and from speaking to our customers we felt there was a gap in the market in Hale village for the alpine themed craft beer and wine bar, which we wanted to create. As a result we have just opened The Moose to some great feedback with the snug proving extremely popular for private parties."

Regional Property Solutions acted for the landlord a private individual. The tenant was unrepresented.

Daniel Lee of Regional Property Solutions said: "It is very rare for units to become available in this village location so we had a lot of enquiries but we believe this concept will add to an already thriving and diverse mix."

as a customer of the deli its a great place. Perfect and I wish there were more places like this! I am sure the moose will also be a success. PNW – I assume its a slow news day in the North West for this to get a mention!

Good news. These suburban delis are ideal for meeting women in their 20s. Any budding lad-about-town can have good results in places like these; as long as he keeps a trim look and maintains solid game it’s not that hard to clean up. The occasional 50-year lass can be picked up as well.

Quote "we felt there was a gap in the market in Hale village for the alpine themed craft beer and wine bar " I think there is a gap in all markets for an alpine themed craft beer and wine bar… !

Never visited the bar, but it looks like it’ll be a cracker. Poit’s comments are quite possibly the best I’ve ever read on PNW.
