Allied confirms Investec deal

Allied London Properties has completed the letting of 7,500 sq ft at 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields in Manchester to Investec Private Bank.

The bank and asset manager will occupy part of the second floor of the building, moving 32 staff in December with capacity to increase the number of employees there to nearly 50.

Allied said a deal was done at £28/sq ft and will be a joint operation for Investec and Rensburg Sheppards, the investment management firm acquired by Investec in March 2010.

Investec staff will move from their current offices in King Street, Manchester and those from Rensburg Sheppards will relocate from premises at Ralli Courts.

Three Hardman Street was designed by Sheppard Robson and totals 350,000 sq ft of Grade A office space.

DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle are letting agents on Spinningfields.
