Allied completes latest Spinningfields signings

Allied London has confirmed a widely tipped trio of lettings with Pinsents and Regus moving to Spinningfields and London Scottish Bank to 201 Deansgate.

Law firm Pinsent Mason has taken 33,000 sq ft on floors eleven and twelve of 3 Hardman Street, with serviced office specialist Regus taking 17,500 sq ft on the floor below.

Allied also confirmed London Scottish Bank would be taking 39,500 sq ft on three floors at 201 Deansgate, following the decision to sell its London Scottish House headquarters. The bank will move into space assigned from Deloitte at 201 as part of the deal to bring Deloitte to Spinningfields.

The Sheppard Robson-designed 3 Hardman Street, totalling 350,000 sq ft, is due for completion in spring 2008. The developer is anticipating rolling straight into construction of its next office building then, either 1 Hardman Street or 3 to 4 Hardman Boulevard.

Barclaycard has already signed for 80,000 sq ft at 3 Hardman Street and is obliged to fit out its space even though it withdrew from the move in March in favour of off-shoring.

Accountant PricewaterhouseCoopers and Allied Irish Bank have also been linked with 3 Hardman Street. Quoting rents are £28.50/sq ft. Letting agents are Jones Lang LaSalle and DTZ.
