Property Alliance Group has appointed Nick Mullins, formerly head of funding and residential development at Lambert Smith Hampton, as its new development director.
Mullins previously spent 16 years with CBRE. His career has seen him act for both public and private sector clients, providing development and funding advice for large residential, commercial and retail schemes across the North West.
The developer has also announced three promotions as it builds its management team to deliver a portfolio that now exceeds £200m, with schemes including Axis Tower, Oxygen, No 3 St Peter’s Square and 55 Portland Street.
Rob Peill and Frank Taylor will become head of offices and head of industrial respectively following the 2016 departures of Dominic Pozzoni and Lee Charnley. Alex Russell, who joined the company from CBRE in 2014, has been promoted to managing director. Ex-Maple Grove and Urban & Civic man Andy Lavin joined Alliance as head of developments in September 2016.
Russell said: “Nick’s vast experience has seen him act for developers, local authorities and major investors on a broad range of schemes spanning all sectors. This knowledge and expertise, particularly of new funding structures and opportunities, will be a great asset to our team as we seek to expand our residential portfolio throughout the UK.
“Rob and Frank have been with Alliance for four and five years now and have worked on a number of big wins for the company. They now have the task of growing our commercial portfolio over the course of this year as we actively seek new opportunities across the region.”
Mullins added: “I’m looking forward to playing a key role in the delivery of these new schemes as well as securing further business opportunities and residential products to support Alliance’s growth plans and its sales arm Alliance Investments, which now has offices in Shanghai, Dubai and Singapore.”
