Allenbuild reports trio of wins

Allenbuild, the national contractor with a base in Wigan, said it has secured over £12m of orders in the North West since the start of April.

The largest was the £7m Etrop Court three-storey retail and office development for Redman Heenan Properties in Wythenshawe.

A £3.8m two-storey 30,000 sq ft office extension is being built by Allenbuild to the rear of the headquarters building for Lancashire Constabulary at Hutton. The 41-week contract will be completed in February next year and will be the third project undertaken by Allenbuild for Lancashire Police.

In Wigan, Allenbuild is undertaking the £1.6m refurbishment and extension to St James' CE Primary School at Worsley Mesnes. The work started in May and will take 28 weeks to complete.

Steve Kelly, managing director of the North West region of Allenbuild, said: "In this very competitive environment I am confident that Allenbuild will continue to deliver value for money for our clients. These schemes will enable us to continue to expand our track record in these sectors as well as providing security for our employees and suppliers."

Allenbuild is part of the Renew Holdings group of companies.
