Derwent Holdings has completed several prelet deals within the redeveloped Ellesmere Shopping Centre and its adjacent Retail Park in Walkden, Salford.

Aldi has taken a 16,000 sq ft store as one of the anchors to the new retail park, currently under construction by Russells. Other new arrivals include Connexions which took 800 sq ft, Barnardos for 3,239 sq ft, Dominos, 1,000 sq ft.

In addition to the new tenants, there have also been a number of relocations within the centre including Poundstretcher which is to move into a new 10,400 sq ft store, B&M which is taking a new 15,000 sq ft store and Ladbrokes which is taking 2,000 sq ft.

Jim Maule-Ffinch, asset manager and advisor to Derwent Holdings, said: "We are delighted to have secured so many new retailers which add to the mix and offer within the scheme. We are in advanced negotiations with a number of other operators and are confident that the Ellesmere Shopping Centre will see strong success as a result of our significant investment."
