AGMA renews £35m building frameworks

The Association of Greater Manchester Authorities is seeking contractors for two frameworks, one for minor building works and the other for responsive repairs.
The four-year frameworks cover plastering, joinery, general building, painting and mechanical and electrical trades. Each contract called off the framework will typically not exceed £1m.
The responsive repairs agreement will require emergency and out-of-hours repairs to council properties and various premises.
The estimated annual budget for responsive repairs is £500,000.
The selection process is being run by Salford City Council. The deadline for expressions of interest is 3 March.
