AGMA announces Greenbuild seminar programme

The Association of Greater Manchester Authorities has published a Green Deal seminar programme to be held at the Greenbuild Expo at Manchester Central on 7 and 8 May.

Alongside its Green Deal programme delivery partners Keepmoat Regeneration, Wates Living Space and Willmott Dixon, AGMA will host a series of 45-minute seminars at the event.

Building on recent Low Carbon Roadshows, the seminars aim to answer questions raised about recent low-carbon developments in Greater Manchester that may affect or provide opportunities for local businesses.

The sessions cover the following subjects:

  • Greater Manchester's Green Deal Framework: An outline of the Greater Manchester combined authority's new Green Deal framework
  • Low Carbon Business Support: ENWORKS will provide an overview of the business support available to Greater Manchester businesses, especially those in the low carbon and environmental goods and services sector
  • Retrofit Innovation Network: The Housing Retrofit Innovation Network provides technical information and evidence from the domestic retrofit programmes, as well as providing opportunities for supply chain members to share their experiences

Greenbuild Expo is one of the UK's newest sustainable building and refurbishment construction industry events, covering a range of topics from training opportunities and renewable technologies to sustainable materials and legislation updates.

Register for a place on the seminars here, or visit AGMA on stand D16.
