Agents change at One New York

Invesco has appointed CBRE and OBI Property, replacing WHR Property Consultants and Jones Lang laSalle, to market One New York Street in Manchester as it attempts to fill the remaining space at the 107,000 sq ft building.

Invesco manages the investment on behalf of the owners of the building, IRE UK III SCS. The distinctive building was originally developed by Bruntwood and designed by Denton Corker Marshall. One New York Street is home to ADT, Aecom, Mills & Reeve LLP, Turley Associates, Marks & Clerk LLP and Intelect Recruitment. Invesco bought the building from Bruntwood for £42m in January 2012.

John Ogden, managing director of CBRE, said: "We are very pleased to have won this new instruction as One New York Street is a prominent building offering the highest quality office accommodation possible with the upper floors providing some of the most stunning views of the city."

Will Lewis, director of OBI Property, added: "The remaining suites in the building range from 2,000 sq ft – 9,000 sq ft and therefore we can cater for a wide variety of different sized businesses. There is no doubt that the 11th floor provides the best office space of its size in the city."

Quoting rental levels for the building are from £28.50/sq ft.

Seems to be a theme developing here. Apprentice teacing the sourcerer a few tricks?

Quite a cutting remark, "shaper". Not an easy building to let. The agents will get changed again before the building is full.

Still, not the most exciting news is it?
