AEW promotes four to associate

Manchester-based AEW Architects has promoted Alex Southall, Eamon O'Hara, Phil Hepworth and Ross Huntingdon to the position of associate.

Southall joined the practice in 2005 from the University of Sheffield and focuses on project delivery, particularly in relation to accommodation and industrial schemes.

O'Hara has been with AEW since 2006 and specialises in masterplanning and retail roll out.

Hepworth joined AEW in 2009 after working at Broadway Malyan and Leach Rhodes Walker.

Huntingdon was hired by the firm in 2007 after completing his studies at Leeds University.

AEW is a 50-strong practice based at Spring Gardens in Manchester. It provides planning, architectural and interior design services for a broad spectrum of clients across various sectors, including industrial and logistics, retail and hotel, sport and leisure, commercial office and master-planning.

Steve Burne, managing director of AEW, said: "All four have shown an unwavering commitment to the practice and to the clients they work for. Each has demonstrated their skill and expertise and their ability to take on more responsibility and help to grow the business."
