AEW adds to board

AEW Architects has expanded its board of directors, promoting associate directors Alan Lamb and Phil Hepworth.

Lamb and Hepworth join managing director Andy Critchlow and directors Andy Rainford and Colin Savage to lead the practice.

Lamb joined AEW in 1997 and specialises in the industrial sector, advising several of the North West’s largest developers of strategic employment land.

Hepworth joined AEW in 2009 as a part two architectural assistant, and works across all of AEW’s key sectors including accommodation, retail, offices, industrial, sports and leisure.

According to AEW, the promotions follow a year of increased revenues, significant reinvestment in business processes, procedures and automation, and a strong pipeline of secured work and future opportunities.

Savage and Rainford were appointed to the board earlier this year.

Critchlow said: “As we reinvest and grow its time to strengthen the board. We continually focus on developing our people and as a result have an amazing talent pool that share our values. I am pleased to welcome Alan and Phil to the board.”

AEW is a 66-strong practice based in Manchester city centre, offering architectural, interior design, Master planning, Conservation, BIM advice and Planning services.
