Aeroworks fully let

Manchester commercial property agency P3 Property Consultants has reported two office lettings in Aeroworks, Piccadilly.

Contractor Birse Rail took a suite of 2,334 sq ft and Linbrooke Services, a Sheffield-based IT engineer, has taken the remaining suite of approx 1,815 sq ft.

The 30,000 sq ft building in Adair Street is owned by architects Jeff Bell and Roger Stephenson who converted the building in 2004.

Aeroworks was built in 1940 to house a factory where parts for the Avro-Lancaster heavy bomber were manufactured.

The original period appearance of the building was retained and modern facilities installed.

Toby Nield, graduate surveyor at P3 acted for the landlords. He said: "With its high ceilings, large windows and spacious layout, Aeroworks is a masterpiece in simple design. Refurbished it offers good modern office space in a building of real local character. Whilst space in the building has really taken off and Aeroworks is currently full, we will have a further office suite of approx 1,978 sq ft to let there early in the New Year and I am confident that it too will fly out."
