Aecom Europe programme head joins Deloitte

Deloitte Real Estate has appointed Lee Hillyard from Aecom as director in its programme assurance and management team in Manchester.

Hillyard spent six years at Aecom, where he was head of programme controls – Europe until he left in October. He helped to establish and run programme management and controls standards, systems and frameworks on some of the world's largest programmes across the nuclear, defence, aviation, pharmaceutical, sports, water and rail industries in both the public and private sectors.

Deloitte UK provides programme management and project controls services across £3bn of works a year.

Hillyard said: "I fully intend to use Deloitte's unique insight and knowledge of industries and corporates to add real value to our clients – those who have to deliver, assure and develop complex programmes of work across all sectors and geographies."
