Addleshaw Goddard promotes real estate associates

Colette Withey and Catherine Fearnhead, both based in Manchester, have been promoted to partner effective from 1 May.

Both are managing associates in the real estate team. Withey joined in 2002 and has particular experience in the retail, pharmaceutical and food sectors.

Fearnhead joined in 2010, and deals with commercial property law specialising in development work and compulsory purchase.

The move is part of 18 partner promotions across the firm. Nine lawyers were also promoted in 2014.

Leona Ahmed, head of real estate, said: "These promotions support our ambitions in real estate, and will provide additional leadership to develop new opportunities and take advantage of the uplift in the market. All of these promotions are well deserved and their ability to provide a first-class service to our clients will allow us to continue to thrive and strengthen our capabilities."
