AD Retail occupies space at Knowsley business park

AD Retail has taken two industrial units totalling over 21,000 sq ft at Langtree's Alchemy business park in Knowsley.

Langtree speculatively built the development as part of its partnership with Knowsley Council, and the scheme comprises over 97,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation on a 25-acre site with further space of 15 acres for a design and build scheme on the site.

Alchemy has been funded through a £2.1m contribution from the Merseyside Objective One programme, with a further £1.3m from the North West Development Agency.

Alan Dale, director at AD Retail, which will occupy units 9 and 10, said: "The decision to relocate from Speke to Knowsley became a certainty once we viewed the opportunity at Alchemy. The new units are built to a very high specification and give the right impression for our business."

The joint agents for Alchemy are CBRE's Liverpool office and Roy Backhouse & Co. The rental agreement was not disclosed.
