Building surveyor and commercial property consultancy Actua has hired Alex Gamil as an associate in its Liverpool team.
Gamil joined the company from Atkins last month, and will help to oversee condition surveys, space planning, feasibility studies, design, and specification.
Gamil worked for Atkins in its commercial, higher education, and healthcare sectors for the past two years, and was based in Newcastle.
Prior to her role at Atkins, Gamil also worked for Lambert Smith Hampton as a senior building surveyor in its Manchester office.
David Sharp, director at Actua, said: “We’ve had a really strong year winning a number of significant new projects which has resulted in continued growth.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Alex on board as she’s a natural fit within the team and we’re sure her extensive experience of the industry will be an asset as we look ahead, to what we hope, will be another successful twelve months.”
Clients Actua works with include Liverpool John Moores University and The Christie Hospital.
