Accrington mill finds new owner

The former premises of printing business Nayler Group in Accrington have been sold to Bubbles Brushes & Wiper Company for £250,000.

The sale of the 1.2 acre Aero Mill building in Kershaw Street, Church was secured by surveyor Sanderson Weatherall in Manchester.

Nayler Group had printing contracts for football matchday programmes at Blackpool FC, Bury FC, Burnley FC, Accrington Stanley FC and Morecambe Town FC. The business entered administration in February 2012.

Bubbles Brushes & Wiper, a supplier of hygiene and cleaning products, previously leased 8,353 sq ft of the ground floor of Aero Mill but has now acquired the entire three-storey former mill and adjacent single storey warehouse.

David Murray, partner at the North West office of Sanderson Weatherall, said: "While it's sad to see the demise of a long-standing business such as Nayler Group and the consequent loss of jobs, we are pleased to see continued employment on the site by achieving this sale of the building to BBW Ltd."
