Accountants close to 3 Hardman Street deal

Allied London is in advanced discussions with PricewaterhouseCoopers to take 72,000 sq ft, covering floors 7 and 8, at its 342,000 sq ft office building, 3 Hardman Street, in Spinningfields, Manchester.

As reported in June, the building has absorbed the dominant share of pre-let demand from professional occupiers in the past year.

During the summer, accountancy firm Baker Tilly signed to take 17,000 sq ft, paying a record £30/sq ft for the scheme.

Scheduled to be completed at the end of October, 3 Hardman Street still has floors 3 and 4 available. Allied London is currently in negotiations with a number of occupiers about taking the remaining space, totalling 40,000 sq ft.

Jones Lang LaSalle and DTZ are joint letting agents on Spinningfields.
