Ability buys Park Inn by Radisson hotel

The Park Inn by Radisson in Manchester city centre has been bought from administrator Deloitte by the Ability Group for around £20m.

Ability owns Premier Inn Glasgow, Doubletree by Hilton Cambridge, Hilton Dunblane Hydro, Liverpool Hilton and the Hilton, London Syon Park.

The latest hotel to the group is in Cheetham Hill Road close to the Phones4U Arena and the Co-operative Group and Hermes' £800m NOMA development. The hotel comprises 252 bedrooms plus restaurant, bar, conference rooms and leisure facilities and is let to Rezidor on a turnover lease with 20 years unexpired.

The Ability Group were not represented. CBRE and JLL were appointed to dispose of the Park Inn by Radisson by John Reid and Peter Allen, both of Deloitte LLP, as joint administrators and joint liquidators of the vendor.
