Addisol Endless Resources has taken 4,700 sq ft on a five-year lease at the industrial complex, part of Kingsway Business Park, as it increases production of personal protective equipment during the pandemic.
Following the deal, the 60,000 sq ft Logic development off Junction 21 of the M62 near Rochdale is almost fully let.
Two of the total 11 units, at 6,185 sq ft and 12,663 sq ft respectively, remain available.
Other tenants at Logic include KP Industries, which designs and manufactures automated handling and conveying systems, and Commercial Blinds and Glazing, a manufacturer and supplier of blinds and glazing solutions.
The development of Logic, part of the 420-acre Kingsway business park, was led by Rochdale Development Agency, a council-owned economic development body, which continues to manage the site on behalf of the council.
The main contractor was Barnfield Construction.
Cllr John Blundell, an RDA board member and Rochdale Council cabinet member for regeneration, said: “This is another scoop for Logic, which is fully justifying the council’s investment in the scheme and the RDA’s work to deliver it.”
Addisol is part of a national network of 3D printing specialists that supplies the NHS with 4,500 protective masks a day, it says.
The firm said it would initially employ six people at the unit, with a view to quadrupling the workforce there over the next two years.
Mason Rowbottom, director of Addisol, said: “Opening our central 3D hub at Logic which will allow us to continue supplying much needed PPE to the NHS and other organisations as frontline staff battle the coronavirus epidemic.”
Logic’s retained letting agents are JLL, BC Real Estate and Barton Kendal.
