£336m Sellafield contract up for grabs

Sellafield is looking for a contractor to build a new storage facility for nuclear waste at its reprocessing site in Cumbria, with a contract value of between £246m and £336m.

The main building structure of the box encapsulation plant was completed in 2002. The latest contract will include the completion of design in addition to procurement, manufacture, testing and inspection, and construction.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 28 March 2014.
