£200k reshuffle in regeneration team

Three senior management positions are being advertised within the regeneration department of Manchester City Council following internal movement.

The head of regeneration, with a salary of £80,000, is the most senior role on offer. Sara Todd, previous head of regeneration, was promoted to assistant chief executive in Sir Howard Bernstein's office. She was replaced in the interim by Julie Connor as acting head of regeneration.

The post of head of city policy, with responsibility for 'making the case for Manchester nationally and regionally', is being advertised with a salary of £65,000 a year.

There is also an opening for regeneration manager for employment and skills, salary £57,500. The post holder will help deliver the Future Jobs Fund, City Region Pilot and Think Families initiatives.

Closing date for all three posts is 22 February.
