Smith & Sons has announced details of its first 2016 auction, with 48 lots available across Wirral.
Properties for sale include a semi-detached house in Milton Crescent, Heswall, and a large home on Groveland Avenue, Hoylake, targeted at owner occupiers or builders and investors looking to refurbish for onward sale or investment.
A semi-detached house on Hawthorne Road, Little Sutton, close to the town centre is ready for immediate occupation, alongside a double-fronted detached house on Belgrave Street in Wallasey.
Planning permission has been granted for 13 apartments at Field Road, Wallasey, whilst a three-storey property and coach house at Grange Road West, Birkenhead, has planning permission for five apartments.
Commercial opportunities include a vacant refurbished office building in Hamilton Street, and a substantial shop and offices in Birkenhead.
The auction is taking place on the 25 February at the Village Hotel in Bromborough, Wirral, from 2pm.
Chris Johnson, auctioneer at Smith & Sons, said: “This is a great auction in terms of variety and opportunity and is one of the largest catalogue for some time. I believe this increase is due in part to a growing confidence in the property market but also due to the pending stamp duty increase in April. This is going to be a particularly strong auction and we’re already experiencing lots of interest.
“There are opportunities for those looking to develop and make strong returns as well as openings for those keen to strengthen their residential and commercial portfolios with good rental properties. Some fantastic residential development lots are certain to appeal to the small to medium size builder or developer.”
