Salford City Council is expected to approve the construction of 270 homes in Ordsall Riverside by Beaumont Morgan Developments, across two sites on Ordsall Lane and Woden Street.
At Ordsall Lane, Beaumont Morgan has outlined plans for 207 apartments and 13 townhouses, split across two interconnected blocks. The building would be seven storeys at its highest, with a communal roof terrace.
The 1.4-acre site was bought from administrators of Greenwater Properties and is derelict, with a large warehouse and smaller buildings left vacant.
At Woden Street, the developer has proposed an eight-storey block of 53 apartments, above a ground floor retail unit.
Officers have recommended that Salford City Council approve the schemes at its planning committee meeting today, Wednesday 8 October.
